Celebrating our impactful community contributions
We’re proud to have made a huge impact in our community this year. Thanks to the dedication and fundraising power of our teams, including the Community Impact Team, we’ve raised over £22,000, supported causes across the UK, sponsored local events, and brought positive change to the communities we serve. Here’s just a peek at what we’ve achieved together this year:
Individual sponsorships 
We’re proud to have supported our teams in their personal fundraising efforts. From a 62-mile dog walk to a 10k swim, they have gone the distance for a variety of causes.
This year we contributed £1,800 to support life-changing health initiatives, sporting challenges, and community-driven efforts.
Client sponsorships
This year, we’ve supported a range of impactful projects through client sponsorships. Our contributions have helped enhance learning environments, support health initiatives, and uplift local communities. Here’s a snapshot:
- Oxford Road Community School Garden: £200 to help create a vibrant outdoor learning and play space with plants, seating, and nature-based learning opportunities.
- Greene King Pandemonium 24: £150 to support Macmillan Cancer Support, funding vital services for individuals affected by cancer.
- Colfox School: £200 to provide new outdoor seating outside the school library, creating a welcoming space for students to relax, study, and socialise.
Supporting community sports
This year, we proudly sponsored the Mountsorrel Juniors under-11’s football team, coached by Jonathan Brewis. Our £1000 donation ensures they have the resources to enjoy a full football season ahead.
Bellrock’s year-round efforts
Through our own events and year-round initiatives, we’ve raised a total of £1518 for various causes, including:
- Alzheimer’s Research UK for our ‘Near Misses’ initiative.
- Breast Cancer Now for our ‘Wear It Pink’ event.
- MIND for our Bellrock Picnic.
- Save The Children for Christmas Jumper Day.
- Imperial Health Charity for our Christmas Jumper Day event.
Partnership initiatives
Bellrock’s Workplace Services team for the LGIM account led an initiative with partners Metcor Environmental. A series of events, including a sponsored ‘sleep out’, formed part of a charity challenge that raised £15,000 for homeless charity Centrepoint.
The Charity Challenge that raised £15,000 for Centrepoint won a Green Apple Award for the initiative.
A magical Christmas for KidsOut
We’re closing the year on a high note with a significant donation of £2000 to the KidsOut’s Dream Package initiative. This contribution ensures a memorable Christmas for families in a mother and child refuge. Our support will provide:
- A Christmas party with festive food and drink.
- Age-appropriate presents for every child.
- A cinema trip with treats for children and their mothers.
As we wrap up this incredible year of giving, we’re filled with gratitude for the dedication and generosity of our team. Together, we’ve made a meaningful difference in our community.
