We’re proud to announce that a Hidden Workers initiative we work on with our clients Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and FM partners won a Highly Commended award in the Wellbeing category at last night’s IWFM Impact Awards ceremony.
We’re thrilled that the collaborative submission we entered with our client LGIM and their partners, Churchill Group and Regular Cleaning, for the joint Hidden Workers initiative has been recognised for the work that it’s doing.
The initiative aims to support security, maintenance and cleaning staff, who are often employed by third parties, in giving them the same health service benefits as other employees working in the same buildings. The initiative is giving the ‘hidden workforce’ access to benefits like sick pay from day one, death in service, and virtual healthcare access including GP appointments.
”We’re extremely proud to have received a Highly Commended award for our Hidden Workers initiative alongside our suppliers and partners, Bellrock, Churchill Group and Regular Cleaning. The commendation is proof that when positive partnerships work, they can make impactful and effective change. All parties work very hard to ensure this initiative works and delivers for the people who need it so congratulations to all involved. Thank you to IWFM for giving us this award, for acknowledging the effort and collaboration of the team and recognising the benefits this project brings to hidden workers.
Mark Tyson, Head of Asset Services for LGIM
”Huge congratulations to the Bellrock team, LGIM and partners for firstly being nominated in the Wellbeing category at this year’s IWFM Awards and then going on to receive the Highly Commended award at last night’s ceremony. At Bellrock, we believe the wellbeing of team members is vital in creating an inclusive and supportive working environment. The work that goes into the Hidden Workers initiative is testament to all the collaborators' efforts in championing this notion for the hidden workforce in our industry, who make such a difference to the buildings we work in. Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to all the people involved in the Hidden Workers initiative and well done to all the other winners at last night’s fantastic awards ceremony.
We were also shortlisted for the Collaboration award for our Symphony Model process, which looks to empower facilities management and maintenance teams to share and integrate their data, for more sustainable places, optimised energy usage, and cleaner air.
